Part-Time EMT's Wanted!

The City of Jackson, MN is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Medical Responders to work a minimum of 12 hours of duty and 12 hours of on call per every two weeks.  Shifts generally run from 6am-6pm all seven days of the week with on-call options as well.  Flexibility to sign up for shifts that fit your schedule through our scheduling program.  The part time EMT/EMR will respond to 911 and interfacility transfer calls with some additional duties as assigned. 

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour for EMT

$15 per hour for EMR

$5 per hour while on call

Licensure/Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent - required

Minnesota Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record – required

BLS Provider CPR Certification - required

Licensed Minnesota Emergency Medical Responder –required (if applying as an EMR)

Licensed NREMT or EMSRB Emergency Medical Technician Basic or greater – required (if applying as an EMT)

1 year of EMS experience - required
