Ice Skating Rink Attendants Wanted!

Position Objectives:

The City of Jackson is accepting applications for part-time Skating Rink Attendants for the 2024-25 ice skating season.   Applications are due to City Hall, 80 W. Ashley Street. Applications are available at City Hall or at www.cityofjacksonmn.com.  The City of Jackson is an equal opportunity employer and service provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include:

• Opening and closing up the warming house
• Monitoring rink activities
• Ensuring a safe environment for skaters
• Keeping the warming house clean and presentable
• Shoveling snow off the ramp and walkways
• Other related duties 

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, work well with the public, work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Benefits:

Starting pay is $12.00 per hour. This is a seasonal position with no benefits.
